Losing weight seems to be a struggle for a lot of us. When we are surrounded by temptation and are ran off our feet by work/family commitments it can be hard to know what to do in order to become slim with no issues. Below are 3 effective tips to lose weight for good.

1. Make a plan

It might seem like a nuisance but planning is crucial if you want to lose weight. We have been stuck in certain bad habits for years and years. The only way to overcome these habits and replace them with healthier ones is to plan. Once we have established new habits we can make them replace old ones and become more automatic. Also planning and planning properly sets it in your mind as something important to you.

How we plan: First we need to assess what we do now. Take a few days to observe yourself throughout the day. Just note down what you eat and drink and how you feel. Note down if any emotion triggered you to eat. Once you have this information you can put your food intake from internet  and discover how many calories you overeat. You can use this to help you make simply quick changes. You may be able to cut out 200-500 calories by consuming only water instead of other things for example.

Make sure you add to your plan your motivations and reasons for losing weight. Taking before and after photos will also help you see improvements and motivate you to progress further.

2. Eat Fruiteat-fruit

Eating fruit before each meal and as much as you desire is a great way to make sure you feel satiated after your main meal. This is a great way to prevent overeating and keep you on track with your weight loss goals. Fruit is the perfect food for your body, it is delicious and will cater for your sweet tooth. Be adventurous and try out new fruits!

3. Water

As mentioned in the plan, water is the best drink you can give your body. Sometimes when we feel hungry we are actually thirsty. Drink plenty of water and try cutting out any other drinks. The only drink is water!
