DHA which is an abbreviation of Docosahexaenoic acid and it is the most important component of omega 3; the others are EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DPA (Docosapentaenoic acid). Studies show that the many benefits of omega3 are basically derived form DHA and EPA; however, DHA is more important because it can be turned into EPA by your body if the need arises but the reverse is impossible.
